The Basements, Fancy Lads and The Moonspinners at Slim’s Last Chance Friday Feb. 7th

Fancy Lads, Basements, Moonspinners Dance Party

A real rock ‘n’ roll dance party on Friday, February 7th at Slim’s Last Chance Chili Chance and Watering Hole. Enjoy the Basements, the Fancy Lads and the Moonspinners, a great way to start the weekend.

The Basements play garage-rock covers of songs about basements (Etta James’ and Sugar Pie DeSanto’s “In the Basement,” the Ramones’ “I Don’t Wanna Go Down to the Basement”), plus other fun underground songs of delight. The Moonspinners play 60’s Mod Squad French-inspired pop sound, with singing by the incomparable Annabella. And don’t miss The Fancy Lads, a quartet of the UK’s finest gentlemen, who will blow you away with their British Invasion ditties and sounds of the Mersey Beat.

Come for the music and stay for the food too! The menu includes several different kinds of chili served on their own or poured over choice of Jalapeno mac n’ cheese or white cheddar grits. Hope you like drinkin’ out of a Mason jar.

Slim’s is at 5606 1st Ave. S.
