Meet at Noon, at the Kiddy Pool at the North end of Greenlake on Friday, January 1st, 2010

What a great way to get the New Year off on the right foot.

Luckily, wigs do offer some insulation from hangovers and there’s no need to fret about bad bed-head.

Rain-or-shine, umbrella’s & kids ok. Meet at the Kiddy Pool on the North end of the Lake at noon. I’m pretty sure we’ll all be pretty easy to spot.

World Naked Bike Ride comes to Seattle

Come on Seattle! World Naked Bike Ride Seattle is just around the corner — it’s this Saturday July 11th.

Promote body acceptance, body freedom and bicycling.

The Portland World Naked Bike Ride had an estimated 5,000 riders! Seattle typically has 100 but this year we are trying to do much better.

Don’t let Portland make a mockery of us once again! Sure they have had light rail for years. Sure they have only public beaches, including two nude beaches close by. And sure they have a basketball team.

Whatever.

We also can be cool. We don’t have to rely on the past coolness of Jimmy Hendricks and Kurt Cobain any longer!

Join in for a fun day of riding naked and body paint (or whatever you choose to wear).

Bare what you dare!

What: World Naked Bike Ride Seattle

When: Sat. 7/11; 11AM to meet and body paint; 1PM to ride

Where: Louisa Boren Park
15th Ave E & Garfield Street
(Just North of Volunteer Park)

Where: From Capitol Hill to Downtown, ending at the Seattle Center (about 7 miles)

Why: To promote body freedom, body acceptance and green transportation.
