Samuel Osborne Barber II, the famous American composer, often signed his letters S.O.B.
Saturday June 19th, the Seattle chamber group, Splash!, is celebrating his 100th birthday at the Good Sherpherd Center in Wallingford.
The Music of Samuel Osborne Barber II (March 9, 1910 — January 23, 1981) All music presented this evening is by Sam Barber except where noted- the Nocturne and Old Maid music by Gian Carlo Menotti.
