Sacred April Fool’s Day Cultural Confluence
Posted by Marlow Harris under Art , Dance , MusicNo Comments
Much like the Allahabad in India, where the sacred rivers Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati meet to create one of the holiest places in Hinduism, the confluence called Triveni Sangam, this Thursday April 1st is a confluence of assorted art and music to create an unprecedented evening of culture.

The Moonspinners are at Bernards from 6pm till 9pm for a free show during Happy Hour.
Then, another fabulous free show, God’s Favorite Beefcake at The Moisture Festival, all around Georgetown, with a dozen other bands. Starting at 7pm, again, FREE. Oh, the humanity!
And don’t forget First Thursday:
There’s the Tree Show at Friesen Gallery.
Juan Alonso’s fundraiser for the Artist Trust EDGE Latino Visual Artists Scholarship Fund.
Rachel Maxi’s show at Some Space Gallery.
You’re So Cool at OHGE Gallery.
Troy Gua & The Collaborati : Meet Greet Rinse Repeat at Toshiro Kaplan building in Pioneer Square
Margot Quan Knight: Underphotos at James Harris Gallery
Then after the artwalk, stop by the City Arts: Artwalk Awards and After Party hosted by Joey Veltkamp from 8pm.
And then the frosting on the cake, the cherry on the sundae, Trainwreck at the Orient Express.
