Oregon Shadow Theatre returns to the Northwest Puppet Center with their brilliantly colored shadow puppets and exuberant live music for this performance of the Mexican folktale, The Green Bird.
Join Luisa on her quest to save her boyfriend, Miguel, who has been transformed into a green bird by a magician. On her journeys, Luisa encounters fantastic scenes and characters including the revolutionary hero, Pancho Villa, an Aztec eagle and dancing skeletons at the festivities of the Day of the Dead. The adventures come to an exciting finale at the most famous bullring in Mexico!
