LOW MOON AT FANTAGRAPHICS BOOKSTORE THIS SATURDAY EVENING

Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery is pleased to welcome exceptional European alternative cartoonist Jason this Saturday, June 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Come down and meet this extraordinary artist, view an exhibition of his original comics, and have him sign a copy of his enchanting graphic novel LOW MOON. This new collection is the most compelling of Jason’s prolific career.
LOW MOON includes the title story from the serialized strip that appeared last year in the New York Times Sunday Magazine, and includes four previously unpublished works. This full color hardcover volume will debut at the event on Saturday. We’ll also have all of Jason’s prior Fantagraphics offerings in soft cover and a small supply of his work in the original European hardcover format.
The Jason appearance this Saturday evening coincides with the colorful Georgetown Second Saturday Art Attack featuring lively art action all over the historic neighborhood.
