Peter and Adrianna Johnson’s new place, McGilvra’s Restaurant and Pub has opened in Madison Park, and the neighborhood is excited to have a new hangout in the ‘hood. Peter built a new “old” bar out of found and reclaimed bits that is incredible and the front bar features an old pew out of St. Joe’s Church.
Located across the street from the beach in Madison Park, they serve up dozens of different beers and ales, plus a full bar. Great dinner menu too and Happy Hour between 3-5pm starting soon.

[...] The point of this post is actually what we discovered after Cactus – the new Irish joint in Madison Park called McGilvra’s Restaurant and Pub! McGilvra’s opened about a week ago and took over the corner spot that was formerly Sorello’s… It’s steps away from Lake Washington, has flat screen TVs, a full bar, and an attentive if not frazzled-by-the-opening waitstaff.
