Live music at 2.30pm by Seattle’s ukulele band, The Ukadelics
5.30pm-8pm, DJ Terence Gunn playing Exotica, Surf, Calypso, and Hawaiian
Parking available on 1st at Forest, or round back on Utah. (Keep in mind that there is road work going on in this area, and that there may only be one lane open going each way. And it’s Saturday. So expect congestion.)
Seattle has no other store like, or even similar to Island Life. The variety of items is staggering, and the prices very reasonable. And Lynette Wylie is one of the most friendly, agreeable shopkeepers you’re likely to meet.
Don your Aloha gear, break open your piggy bank, and come join the festivities this Saturday!
